StringStar are pleased to announce our very first "Featured Artist" and this month we are very proud to present one of Britains hottest new bands...
The Last Republic, comprising of David Llewellyn, Aron Harris, Jonnie Owen, Joey Daniels and Dafydd Anthony, were formed in 2008.
After beating 3,500 bands to win 2009’s ‘Road to V’ competition the band have gone on to support the likes of The Charalatans, and Placebo. More recently The Last Republic were chosen by Kerrang! Radio to support rock legends Bon Jovi in front of 24,000 people at the 02 Arena.
With new single ‘(C’Mon) Flood The Gates’ on release on 12th July 2010 and a debut album scheduled for September 2010 The Last Republic have established themselves as a ‘must see live act’ who will be appearing at various festivals this summer and will be announcing details of a new UK tour shortly.
